UP Board Hub – Privacy Policy

App: UP Board Hub (package com.upboardprep)
Developer: Kivo Labs
Last updated: 2 September 2026

This privacy policy explains what information the UP Board Hub Android app collects, why it is collected, and how it is used. We keep this deliberately short and specific.

Information we collect

What we do not collect

Why we collect it

Only to run the app: to sign you in, to remember your class, language and saved items across devices, to show your streak and test results, and to answer doubts you post.

Where your data is stored

Your account and study data are stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), on Google servers in the Asia South region. Firebase processes this data on our behalf. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Third-party content

Study material is shown as links to material published by others — chapter PDFs from NCERT (ncert.nic.in), papers from UPMSP (upmsp.edu.in), and video lessons played from YouTube. When you open such an item, that provider may collect data under its own privacy policy. We do not control those services.

Children

The app is a study app for school students. We collect no more than what is listed above, show no advertising, and do not build advertising profiles of users.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. To have your account and all associated study data deleted, email us at the address below with the email address (or, for guest accounts, the user ID shown in the app’s Profile screen). We will delete it within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored in Firebase with access rules that require a signed-in account.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
